Shannah Harris
Shannah Harris joined Greenwillow Books as the editorial assistant in 2024. A lover of storytelling in all its forms, Shannah adores picture books that honor the theatrical experience of reading aloud and middle grade & YA novels that celebrate curiousity, accessibility, and joy. She is a graduate of Fordham University and is currently pursuing an MS in Publishing at NYU.
Tim Smith
Tim Smith has worked at Greenwillow Books since 2003, but he’ll always consider himself to be the new Phyllis. He lives in the Bronx, New York, with his wife and two sons who have no idea how happy it makes their dad to be able to just read children’s books to them.
Lois Adams
Lois Adams has been on Greenwillow’s managing editorial staff since 1999, working on everything from picture books to poetry to middle grade and teen novels. She loved the read-aloud years at her house, but is even happier now that her kids are recommending books to her.
Paul Zakris
Paul Zakris has been designing books for over thirty years. He’s been doing children’s books for more than twenty-five years and has been with Greenwillow Books since 2002. Boy, is he tired!
Sylvie Le Floc'h
Sylvie Le Floc’h has been designing books for Greenwillow since 1992. She regales the staff with stories of her childhood on the family farm in Brittany, which always seem to include slaughtering and eating small animals. She also appreciates fine dining, loves traveling to Brittany (“you get your strength from the red earth of Brittany” her father used to tell her), and works assiduously to keep her French accent. Santé!
